Rediscovering Esashi’s History and Culture 2026 at Sapporo Chika-Ho

An event showcasing the history and culture of Esashi through various themes,
“Rediscovering Esashi’s History and Culture 2026 in Chi-Ka-Ho,” will be held.

The event features a variety of activities to enjoy the charms of Esashi,
including live performances and mini-seminars on Esashi Oiwake,
exhibits and hands-on booths introducing forest culture, historical culture,
and maritime culture — such as the Kaiyo Maru and Kamome Island —
as well as mini-forums.

The event will be held at the “Chi-Ka-Ho” underground plaza in front of Sapporo Station.

Admission is free.
